Sharing is caring - But be careful of what you share UPDATE: Suspension has been extended

Update: According t another email Adam (Goron2000) received, the suspension on his PSN account has been extended due to some action he took sometime in the last 24 hours. Keep in mind, the original suspension went live at around midnight EST and he has not been able to access his account since then. Seriously, if you're enjoying Watch_Dogs 2, have fun but try to enjoy its raunchier content privately.

Original post: Seems a lot of people have gotten their hands on Watch_Dogs 2 early. The majority of the public seems to be enjoying the game, so looks like all is well. And of course what happens when people get the game early in today's connected internet age? We share! Pictures, videos, screenshots, you name it! Unfortunately, seems some people aren't able to enjoy the benefits of our internet connected age. Well, maybe not ALL is well.

If that seemed like a shoehorn of an intro, it was. Cut me some slack, I've been dealing with some bad stuff.

Anywho! According to one Neogaf user, who received a copy of Watch_Dogs 2 early by way of Amazon Prime Now, after sharing a screenshot of a woman's lady business, he found his account suspended the next day.

Goron2000, as he goes by on Neogaf, tweeted the photo after ... actually, I'll let him (or her) tell the story:

"I received my copy of Watch Dogs 2 on Saturday evening due to a mistake on Amazon Prime Now and I've been having a great time with the game so far. On Sunday evening I accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe and then I saw *it*; someone at Ubisoft had rendered a full vagina on one (or maybe more) of the females in the game.

I took a picture of this funny oversight with the ingame camera and shared it on twitter for my friends to see and I posted it in one of the Watch Dogs early release threads on here. Cut to tonight where I can't access any services while playing the game and then when I tried to sign in there was a very brief message about my account being suspended.

I checked my emails and this is what I have received from Sony:
We’re writing to inform you that your Sony Entertainment Network account has been temporarily suspended.

We’ve made this decision based on your online activity in Live from PlayStation on 14-11-2016.

Content of an adult or sexual nature is against our Code of Conduct.

The suspension will last 1 week and will be lifted on 21-11-2016. You won’t be able to access online multiplayer, PlayStation Store and other network features until the suspension is over.

We take the decision to suspend an account very seriously, and we only do so after one of our moderators has carefully analysed the situation. PlayStation Support therefore cannot overturn this moderation decision.

We ask all our players to act decently, respectfully and with consideration for us and other players while using PlayStation Network. To make sure you understand the behaviour we expect from our community, please review the Code of Conduct here before returning to PlayStation Network. Please be aware that any further breaches of the Code of Conduct may result in a longer suspension or even a permanent ban.

Yours sincerely,

SIEE Moderation
So I now have a new game that relies heavily on online features that I won't be able to enjoy this week and a mark on my record for an easy ban whenever they next decide I've exposed them for being crap at cert.

Do you guys think they were right to suspend me for sharing content they've allowed on their platform?

According to Polygon, who reached out to Goron2000 or Adam, in an email back to Polygon, Adam said he thought it was a he thought the nudity “kind of humorous at the time because I work in QA and assumed one of my own had let this slip,” but “it turns out there’s a lot of nudity in [Watch Dogs 2].”

Adam apparently hadn't heard about full frontal nudity being a thing in Watch_Dogs 2 (for anyone else not in the know, here's the ESRB synopsis of the game, be warned, it talks of nudity). For anyone else not in the now, or maybe just curious, the screenshot in question can be found in this Tweet (but it is extremely NSFW so view with caution).

Somewhere down the string of replies to said tweet, there is a video of another player following a man showing full frontal nudity, but no word so far as to whether this player has been suspended as well (again, extreme NSFW, view with caution).

While Sony's Code of Conduct does explicitly restrict players from posting offensive material, this isn't the first instance of Watch_Dogs 2 players snapping selfies with nude NPCs. So is this an isolated incident or will Sony be going after anyone living the nude life? As I'm not big enough to be bugging Sony for comments of stuff like this (YET), only time will tell.
