Insomniac Games announces two new VR games

Insomniac Games announced earlier 2 new games, Feral Rites and The Unspoken.

The former is described as having "the exploration of Zelda and the all-out combat of God of War." Players will be able to transform into beasts to gain new combat abilities. It seems combat will be combo based, so for those of you who love to chain together a good string of hits until your opponent is mush, have at it.

The latter game, The Unspoken, will be a PVP based VR game, using the Oculus touch controllers to cast spells at other players. This one looks to get players using their arms and hands in interesting ways, so maybe clear out breakable furniture before playing.

Insomniac has also revealed a third title coming in 2016. Titled Edge of Nowhere, this one is an action-adventure thriller set in the frozen wastes of Antarctica.

Unfortunately, while all three of these titles are VR, they are exclusive to Oculus Rift.

Sad panda... Why, Insomniac, why? Here's hoping they'll bring it to other platforms somewhere down the line, I really want VR gaming to be a great thing but exclusives right out the gate might hurt the medium a bit.
