Vampyr Finally Set to Release this June

DONTNOD, the studio behind the original Life is Strange, has revealed a release date for their upcoming morally grey vampire simulator, Vampyr: June 5.

Okay, maybe not a "vampire simulator", but pretty close. Set in 1918 London, Vampyr put players in the shoes of Jonathan Reid, a former soldier, now medical practitioner who wakes up to find himself cursed with Vampirism.  Reid has to find a way to come to terms with his affliction and assimilate into society without giving himself away.

Players will be put in situations which will ask them to find a way to balance keeping Reid's Hippocratic Oath with his need to feed on blood. With a village nearby, players will become very closely involved in what goes on in the village; keeping an ear to the latest gossip, learning people and places; and possibly be responsible for who goes missing from the village.

Recently, DONTNOD has been doing a series of short developer diaries of sorts. The latest will be embedded below, while the rest can be found here
