PlayStation Plus Lineup for July Makes Last-Second Switchup
Last week, PlayStation announced the lineup of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers for the month of July 2019. At the time, it seemed assured that the free games would be Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. Today, however, it would seem the fine folks at PlayStation had a bit of a change of heart. The PS Plus lineup has had a slight change today, the day the free games were to go live. This is what you’ll be getting with your PS Plus subscription this month:
To many, this news comes by way of twitter, which links to a newly updated PS Plus page for July. In the update PlayStation Plus article, it’s stated that Pro Evolution Soccer would not be making the cut. Instead, Detroit: Become Human Deluxe Edition will be taking it’s place this month. Horizon Chase Turbo will still be the other freebie available this month.
Update: We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July. This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain, to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Here’s more information about Detroit: Become Human, which will be available to PS Plus members along with Horizon Chase Turbo from July 2 to August 5.
The article also has every mention of PES, including whole paragraphs, in strikethrough text, showing that it wasn’t replace and forgotten, but it was “crossed out,” for all intents and purposes.
Detroit Become Human Deluxe Edition and Horizon Chase Turbo are both available from now, July 2 through August 5 for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
