Marvel's Avengers Update Adds New Ping System

The latest update to the Square Enix developed Marvel’s Avengers adds a new ping system for AI companions. This new ping system is something players have been asking for nearly since launch. By utilizing these new pings, solo players, or players in a less-than-full party, can still interact with hacking stations and smashable doors. In addition to that, players can ping enemies, loot chests, and objectives for teammates who may be elsewhere in the mission area.

Pinging something is as simple as aiming at the item with the trigger and hitting up on the D-Pad. Anything but enemies can be pinged, so as not to interrupt the flow of combat.
