Ni-oh Alpha Demo Available Now

Ni-oh, Team Ninja's newest title, is as brutally hard as we all thought it would be. Or maybe I'm a wuss. I don't know. But the demo hit the PSN today, yesterday for those of you outside of America.

Ni-oh is a Samurai RPG with a Dark Souls-esque fighting system. The enemies are strong and smart, and will gang up on you if you allow them to, making it all to easy for them to end you.

Publisher Koei Tecmo has announced that anyone who can clear one stage of the demo will be granted access to the exclusive Mark of the Conqueror DLC, made available at launch. Koei Tecmo has already said they do not plan to make this content available to those who do not get it through this demo, which will only run from April 26 to May 5.

The demo features two stages; a ruined fishing village called Usuki, and an ancient region overtaken by demons called Dazaifu. Good luck to any who go there, as I've mentioned in my quick write-up how hard just the village is.

If anyone else tries this, feel free to let me know what you think of it, I'm dying to know what other people have to say about this demo.
