Developer tri-Ace is bringing 2D Dungeon Crawler Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky to North American shores later this year on PlayStation 4 and (thank the gods!) PlayStation Vita. tri-Ace, the developer behind the acclaimed Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series, is developing this with publisher Aksys Games.
Aksys Games Sales and Marketing Manager Danny Miscevich announced the news on the PlayStation Blog yesterday. As soon as the game starts, you the player dies. In an explosion. Nice, dead as soon you get in. Your death was due to the explosion of the soul if an evil god named Yamatoga, whose powers you've been given, along with 11 others caught in the explosion. You awake in another world and as comes standard with new powers and other world, you've been caught up in a conflict between gods with immensely high stakes.
Exist Archive uses the side-view in dungeons and combat consists of a combo system. Skills development also depends on what combos you use and who you have in your party. For the details, hit up the official post.
I can't wait for this to hit. The way as I see it, the more games on Vita, RPG or what have you, the better. Exist Archive launches for PS4 and PS Vita in America on October 18.
