During their pre-E3 briefing, Electronic Arts released a video about where the Star Wars games are and that's it.
Ok, seriously, they did show us a dev diary video giving a few new tidbits about the new games from a bunch of studios: DICE, Visceral, Motive, BioWare, and Capital Games.
Additionally, they revealed that Jade Raymond, the producer on the original Assassin's Creed, will be heading up EA's newest studio Motive Studios and working together with DICE on a new Battlefront game, which will include content from "the new movies."
Just to give a quick recap of the Star Wars games in production, here's a list:
- DICE -- Collaborating with Motive and Criterion on new Star Wars Battlefront game, coming in 2017.
- Respawn -- Third-person action adventure game (no release date)
- Visceral Games -- New action game coming in 2018
- BioWare -- Continued development on Star Wars: The Old Republic
- Capital Games -- Continued development on Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes
- Motive -- A new Star Wars Battlefront game, in collaboration with DICE.
