Microsoft Went All-Out At E3 Today and Killed It

Microsoft came out swinging at their E3 press conference, starting strong with confirming the new Xbox One Slim, following up with Gears of War 4, and keeping the momentum going for a solid hour+ after. For a list of all the news that went up. Lets get going:

Xbox One Slim confirmed, launching August for $299. Microsoft also announced their Project Scorpio, their updated hardware Xbox One, set to launch Holiday 2017.

More gameplay for Gears of War 4, also coming to PC. Horde Mode 3.0 announced by The Coalition Studio boss Rod Fergusson. More information on that in the coming months. Gears of War 4 will launch on October 11.

Also announced was a new Gears of War branded Elite controller, preorder soon. I'm sure these will go quick. 

Recore exclusive to Xbox One and Windows 10, gets release date of Sept 13. We also saw a new trailer for Recore. 

Scalebound shows off some Co-op play and giant bosses. Scalebound co-op trailer found here

Sea of Thieves re-emerges with new co-op and competitive gameplay, as well as a new cinematic trailer.

Killer Instinct got a new character some Gears fans might care for: General Raam joins the KI Season 3 roster. 

Forza Horizon 3 confirmed with trailer, will be playable across Xbox One and PC. Gameplay demo showed on stage. 

Dead Rising 4 announced, with trailer and even a release window: Holiday 2016. Not a firm date, but better than letting it hang, and its not even that far!

State of Decay 2 announced, coming later 2017.

Halo Wars 2 gets not only an announcement, but also a couple trailers, a multiplayer and an official trailer, and a February 21, 2017 release date. 

Tekken 7 got a nice showcase, with a new trailer of Heihachi facing off against Akuma. Tekken 7 will be coming not only to PlayStation 4 but also to Xbox One and PC in early 2017. 

Limbo dev PlayDead announces new game INSIDE, a game of tyrrany and oppression, and that the game will release on June 29 for Xbox One, July 7 for PC. Limbo will also be available for free on Xbox One from June 13 through to June 20.

The Division showed a trailer for its latest upcoming Expansion. More than an update, Underground is the first larger paid DLC for The Division and will be coming first to Xbox One on June 28. 

Last, but not least, we have Gwent. Yes, the popular card game from The Witcher 3 is going to be its own standalone game coming to Xbox One, PC, and PS4. Currently you can sign up for the beta on playgwent.com, only the PC and Xbox One signups are available, though I expect the PS4 signups will open after Sony's presser later tonight.
