Microsoft started their briefing by revealing the Xbox One S aka Xbox One Slim. The box and controller have been redesigned such as both being white and the box being 40% smaller. The controller will come with increased wireless range, Bluetooth support, and a textured grip. It also no longer comes with a power brick meaning that the power supply is inside the box. It will arrive in store this August for only $299.99.
That wasn't the only hardware revealed. Microsoft also announced that they are indeed working on a new more powerful Xbox One. It is called Project Scorpio. The console will have more powerful hardware that will support 4K picture quality at a smooth frame rate. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait until Holiday 2017 to get our hands on it. There is no word on the price yet.
