Developers Behind LawBreakers Announce 80s Inspired Radical Heights
Not long ago, Boss Key Productions came clean, so to speak, about the state of LawBreakers and in that, they said they were moving on from LawBreakers because it simply hadn't been able to find an audience. i In that same statement, it was mentioned that they had another game already in the works. Yesterday, we got a look at what that game is.
Radical Heights appears to be the latest to join the Battle Royale genre, but with a new kind of flair. For one, this game aims to set itself apart from the pack by being bright, colorful, full of 80s aesthetics and game show elements where "cash is king." According to the game's official website, Radical Heights is a Battle Royale game in which you earn money, win or lose, which can be banked and spent on "righteous customization" or be pulled from an ATM early on in the next round to buy weapons.
Along with cash, there are also "prizes" to be found scattered around the in-game map that are your to keep should you find them. You don't have to find them again in the next match; if you find it, its yours to keep, win or lose. This obviously doesn't pertain to weapons, but it sounds interesting in regards to cosmetics.
Radical Heights is what they're calling "X-Treme Early Access" and will be implementing community feedback throughout 2018 before an expected full release sometime in 2019. You can grab Radical Heights for free on the game's Steam page starting April 10.
