Sam Fisher is Teaming up with the Ghosts in latest Wildlands Update
Last week, Ubisoft teased something involving Sam Fisher and the Ghosts of Ghost Recon: Wildlands. Earlier today, we got the details on just that. On April 10, as part of a timed event, Sam Fisher will be appearing in Bolivia.
Special Operation 1, the first piece of year 2 content for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, will be available from April 10 and will include a Special mission involving a team up with Fisher to compete his high-risk infiltration mission. The mission will take place at night and will be playable either solo or in teams of up to four players. Upon completion (I believe in you, you can do it), players will be awarded exclusive items such as Fisher's iconic night vision goggles, with a new night vision filter, and more.
Again, this is a timed event, the mission will only be available from April 10 to May 16,so just over a month. A Splinter Cell Gear Pack will also be available with new customization items, which will now extend to your teammates. Spec Op 1 will allow players to customize their team however they want.
On the PvP side, a new mode called Sabotage will be coming alongside 5 new maps, new perks and weapons, and the Echelon class. The Echelon is the first of six planned new classes for Ghost War. All this and much more details on everything over at the PlayStation Blog, with a post from Senior Manager of Communications for Ubisoft, Giancarlo Varanini.
If you're interested, April 12-15, the entirety of Wildlands will be available for free, including this new Sam Fisher mission.
