Outriders Having Some Launch Day Issues

Outriders, the new looter-shooter (still hate that term) from Gears of War Judgement developer People Can Fly, is finally available for purchase. but has been unplayable for many players. While there have been few bugs to speak of, there have been numerous login issues, meaning mose players have not been able to get onto the servers.

Throughout both launch day and the day following, the game has been plagued with server login issues which has stalled many players from being to start up and get into the game. Developer People Can Fly has taken to Twitter numerous times to keep players updated on the situation, culminating in a “mother of all turn-it-off-and-on-agains,” just a few minutes ago.

We are about to do the mother of all turn-it-off-and-on-agains.

This will take all servers offline for a short duration. The complete downage will allow us to rebuild and recover server infrastructure in order to bring it back into a healthy and stable state. https://t.co/EgPgcKu1Io
