Mirror's Edge Catalyst Getting a Closed Beta

If you're interested in the new Mirror's Edge reboot Mirror's Edge Catalyst, you'll be excited to hear about a new Mirror's Edge Catalyst Closed Beta!

The Beta will run from April 22 - April 26, a total of 5 days. Players will be able to experience "several" main missions, side missions, and some optional content, though I've no doubt that any Mirror's Edge fan will be all too happy to scale as much of the City of Glass as they can to find whatever "optional" content is there. And if they're like me, they'll also love just going as high as they can to gaze down upon the beautiful city DICE has put together.

...

OK, now for the bad news...

Sorry for getting hopes up. It seems that hardly an hour after the beta registration opened, it soon closed. Seems excitement was too much for EA and DICE and, I can only fathom a guess, the ran out of Closed Beta slots. :'( EA issued a statement here.

Wish I'd been a bit more on top of things this time around. We'll just have to rely on someone to tell us whats going on with Faith's newest Cityscape runs, while we wait for its full release on May 24.

In the meantime, you can check out why Mirror's Edge won't include guns from gamespot.com.
