In a post from John Koller, VP PlayStation marketing, SCEA, on the PlayStation blog, details about tomorrow's PS4 firmware update 3.5, codename Musashi, have officially hit. Let's see what we can expect.
Appear Offline, a feature I missed from my old Xbox 360 days, will be added and accessible from the profile, set when you log in, or from the quick menu by holding the PS button.
Friend Online Notification. Now you can choose to be notified when a certain friend has come online. Simply go to their profile and hit the Options button.
User Scheduled Events. Players will have the ability to create their own game event sessions and invite whomever they choose. Choose what game and when and registered users will be automatically added to a party when the event begins. More details on the PS blog.
Play Together. Now all players in a party can see what others are playing and start a game together. Presumably, it'll be easier this way.
This one isn't social, but important anyway. Remote Play from PC/Mac . It's true. With this update, PC players can play their PlayStation 4 games remotely from their computer. I'm not really deep into PC gaming so I'll let you check out the specs yourselves.
What do you all think of this update? Anything you'll be making full use of? Something interest you or are you just not feeling like a social butterfly? Let me know in the comments.
