Square Enix recently revealed a "majority" of the games they plan to release through fiscal year 207, which ends Match 31, 2017. There are a couple that still have yet to get an iron clad date, and some are only releasing in Japan.
First off, the games include:
- Final Fantasy XV
- Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
- Dragon Quest Heroes II
- Rise of the Tomb Raider for PS4
- World of Final Fantasy
- Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
- SaGa: Scarlet Grace
Still, it's not entirely shocking that these games were left out. They've been relatively silent about both of them, and Final Fantasy VII Remake was just announced last year. Perhaps it'd be too much to ask that more developers be like Bethesda, who garnered tons of respect for announcing Fallout 4 at E3, then releasing it just a short 6 months later.
It's not entirely not possible. Square Enix has spoken to videogamer, saying that "the slide doesn't feature the complete line-up of titles for the year", so there's a chance at least Kingdom Hearts 3 may make it in FY2017, though my hopes are pinned on holiday 2017. As for Final Fantasy VII Remake, I'd say expect something around 2018 before we hear anything more substantial.
Oh! Before I forget, NieR: Automata has been neither confirmed nor denied as delayed until 2017, so I guess for now wait and see? NieR: Automata was revealed at Paris Games Week 2015 and was slated for a 2016 release window. The window is still wide open, but this image shrinks it quite a bit. Or at least shows us what games we can expect to be climbing through it any time soon.
