November 11! Just getting that out of the way now. Bethesda has announced that Dishonored 2 will be on store shelves November 11, with more information about the game, including a gameplay demo, becoming public at this year's E3 on June 12.
It's almost funny to think that last year's E3 was the last we heard of Dishonored 2, and that was just the announcement. I can't wait to hear more about this one. Dishonored was a masterpiece of game design, giving players all the freedom in the world to do literally anything they wanted to achieve their given mission. Many went the stealth route, as much of the game seemed to point us toward like an excited sibling trying to show you the "best" way to complete the goal but there were so many other ways to go about anything it became hard not to give in and try everything. And that wasn't a bad thing, it added to the charm of Dishonored.
Now Dishonored 2 will give play the choice between previous lead character and fan favorite Corvo Attano or Emily Kaldwin, empress heir to the throne of Dunwall. Each will have separate powers to experiment with.
I personally can't wait for E3 to hear more from Bethesda about Dishonored 2. Ifyou're as excited as I am, be sure to leave a comment below.
