Ubisoft is no stranger to Easter eggs and Ghost Recon Wildlands has some fun ones.Ghost Recon Wildlands Season 2 is well underway and as part of that, there are some crossovers happening among Ubisoft's shooters. Not long ago, Sam Fisher appeared for a quick team up with the Ghosts, and now a few of the Rainbow Six Siege operators have come to Bolivia.
There are a few dialogues between the Ghosts and team Rainbow outside of cutscenes and during one of these dialogues Nomad briefly mentions something about "Operation Patriots" that "went south," a clear nod to the cancelled 2011 project "Rainbow Six Patriots." When Nomad presses Caveira, the Rainbow Six Operator, for some details on Operation Patriots, she replies, "not even with a knife to my throat."
It's a quick little nod to a game that was announced in 2011 as Rainbow Six Patriots, but was cancelled in 2013 before later becoming what we know as Rainbow Six Siege.
