Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has a Release Date

Insomniac Games has revealed the release date for the upcoming Playstation 5 exclusive Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart.

A new post on the PlayStation Blog by Insomniac Games Creative Director Marcus Smith gave us some details, including a June 11 release date. There are also details on pre-order bonuses (cause there’s always pre-order bonuses), a Digital Deluxe Edition, and new Ratchet and Clank merch on the PlayStation Gear Store.

Alongside the post, there is also a new cut of the initial trailer that includes the release date at the end.

The post ends with a note about the female Lombax, and more specifically, what her name is. Well, while there wasn't an outright confirmation, there was an interesting hint. The post ends by saying

“And yes, we know you are asking for the new Lombax’s name. And it’s not fair that we put her in the art and aren’t telling you yet. Hang in there, you’ll be feeling rosy soon.” This isn't a real phrase most for most people, but if you would allow me to extrapolate for just a moment, I think we can assume the new Lombax will be named Rosy (Rosie?)
