Some people just can't stay out of the code mines. And that's not a bad thing! This time around, the Pokémon GO data miners dug up little deeper after the recent update and found these nifty little code nuggets (via gonintendo):
- Daily Quests are coming
- There will be three types of Daily Quests
- Quest types include 'First Catch of The Day' and 'First PokeStop of the Day'
- Rewards for Daily Quests is unclear, but the code references incubators
The only rewards noted in the code are incubators, implying that each question yields at least a chance at egg incubators. The third quest the is also a mystery, as even the data shows (via Pokémongohub.net):
"QuestType
.QUEST_UNKNOWN_TYPE .QUEST_FIRST_CATCH_OF_THE_DAY .QUEST_FIRST_POKESTOP_OF_THE_DAY"
This is all very interesting as it may add new incentive to continue playing. Certain parts of the code also imply that these new features are already in the game, Niantic simply has to activate it.
